How has yoga impacted your life?
Yoga has given me the courage to live with authenticity. To not settle in life, and how to meet challenge through using my breath and finding equanimity. I know I can step onto my mat at anytime and completely shift my energy through asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation.
What is your favourite class to teach?
I love teaching Yin and Meditation, and guiding a sound healing with the crystal bowls.
This is where my heart truly lays and it’s my life's calling.
To empower my students through getting back in touch with themselves and guiding them into creating profound shifts is such a privilege.
What students learn in my classes are tools to use in everyday life to manage stress and return to their centre.
I do a lot of research on neuroplasticity and how we have the capacity to rewire our brains, and how our thoughts can create physiological change within the body, and interact with our nervous systems. I also focus a lot on energy and becoming sensitive to feeling it (we are vibrational beings after all!)
I really love the science behind this work, keeping it all very practical, real and tangible.
What is a quote you love, or a book you recommend?
I love The universe has your back by Gabby Bernstein - always a beautiful comforting reminder to know how universally supported we are.

How has yoga impacted your life?
Practising yoga has undoubtedly had a great impact on how I move through life - how I treat other beings, how I treat myself and how I take time to reflect on my reactions and feelings. In my humble opinion practising yoga or mindfulness does not make one a perfect human being but rather gives the tools and opportunity to experience life being aware of why we act or feel a certain way, and then perhaps try and change any patterns we are not satisfied with.
I try to bring yoga off the mat to every aspect of my life, including my parenting where the ability and time to look within, reflect, take time for myself as well as remaining calm in frustrating situations has made a big difference.
What is your favourite class to teach?
That would definitely be the slower paced gentle flows - both to practice and to teach. I believe it is a great idea to practice different styles of yoga however taking it slow gives the opportunity to face the thoughts and feelings rising within which we don't often have the chance to in our increasingly busy lives. I love giving my students the permission to slow things down.
What is a quote you love, or a book you recommend?
Michael A. Singer "The Untethered Soul". Breathe, relax and let go.

What is your teaching ethos?
My teaching ethos is about creating a space where people feel safe to slow down, breathe, and just be. I believe in the power of gentle, mindful movement that meets you where you are, physically and emotionally.
We never know what someone might be silently carrying, so I aim to offer a space that feels supportive, grounding, and maybe brings a sense of ease and lightness.
How has yoga impacted your life?
I found yoga in a time of struggle. At first, it was my escape, a space where I could breathe when everything else felt too heavy.
Overtime, it became so much more. It became a place where I found joy, a sense of calm, and where just showing up felt like enough. Yoga helped me feel lighter, steadier, and more connected, and that’s what I hope to offer others through my teachings.
Favourite style to teach?
Would have to be Yin and Slow flow I cant choose they are both so special.
